Hi, my name is Lindsey Taylor and I created Lili Magnolia Private Chefs & Catering after working in the restaurant and hospitality business for almost 20 years, I wanted to start something of my own.
The name Lili Magnolia, is something near and dear to me. I named it after my two daughters, in hopes that some day they would like to come and work in the family business. My teenage daughter, Presley is already in training.
We create true California cuisine, focusing on the best ingredients, seasonal, local, organic and sustainable, whenever possible. My upbringing in Northern California made me appreciate a perfectly ripe tomato and homegrown lettuces, while my experience in the LA food scene has given me many opportunities to create many once in a lifetime events.
Our food at Lili Magnolia is in one word balanced. I believe that food should be multidimensional in flavor and texture. Your senses should all be involved...sight, smell and taste. I also like to draw on many different ethnic traditions and cooking techniques as well as bring my clients old favorites in a new and surprising way.
Lili magnolia started out as a small private chef and catering company and has turned into an enterprise that can also provide full service event planning for parties of 20-400.
